This project was the construction of the September 11th National Memorial Trail. It was the first portion of the connection between the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) Trail and the Flight 93 National Memorial. The first phase was approximately 1.5 miles in length, located in Garrett, PA. Work consisted of excavation & grading of an old rail bed, placement of trail aggregates, install drainage pipes, and constructing gabion walls.
