PROJECT MANAGER
At this time, we are searching for a reliable Construction Project Manager to plan construction projects and oversee their progress in a timely and cost effective manner. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing costs, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the project.
Requirements:
- Ability to plan projects that demonstrates a commitment to company safety policies.
- Proven working experience in construction management.
- Knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
- Competent in conflict and crises management.
- B.S degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum (5) five years’ experience working with PennDOT.
- Experience with the use of Heavy Bid and Heavy Job Software packages to manage projects.
- Experience with the Use of Primavera Software for scheduling of projects.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT/HEAVY TRUCK MECHANIC
Plum Contracting is currently seeking a heavy equipment/heavy truck mechanic. Canidate should have atleast 7 years experince as a mechanic working with late model CAT equipment. CDL/Heavy Commercial Truck Inspection License prefferd. Union Shop.
CDL Class A Truck Drivers
Plum Contracting is currently seeking truck drivers with a valid CDL, Class A License and medical card.
Construction Crew Leader
At this time we have and opening for a Crew Leader capable of supervising crews installing highway underdrain. The canidate must have a strong background working on Penndot Projects
Additional Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-10 years experience in excavation, grading & pipe installation
- Strong knowledge of plans and specifications
- Good understanding of various PennDot, Federal, State and local industry-related regulations
- Good understanding of working safely and OSHA requirements
- Must have a proven track record
- Construction Management degree preferred but not required.
- Be willing to travel to projects outside of Western PA.
- Current valid Drivers License & Medical Card
Construction Foreman/Lead Laborer
At this time we have and opening for a Construction Foreman/Lead Laborer in the western PA market. The candidate must have a strong background in the following areas:
Bridge and Highway projects performed for PennDot.

Qualified Bridge/Highway Superintendent
At this time we have and opening for a Bridge/Highway Superintendent in the western PA market.
Candidate responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Complete supervision and responsibility for the job site field operations, including daily production, costs, safety, organization, labor & equipment scheduling and management, subcontractor management.
The candidate must have a strong background in the following areas:
Bridge and Highway projects performed for PennDot.
Additional Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-10 years experience as a Jobsite Superintendent
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to details
- Willing to take ownership of the project
- Preparing work plans, scheduling and directing work crews and subcontractors
- Develop “look ahead” schedules for crews, equipment and material
- Strong knowledge of plans and specifications
- Good understanding of various PennDot, Federal, State and local industry-related regulations
- Good understanding of working safely and OSHA requirements
- Must have a proven track record
- Current valid Drivers License & Medical Card
