Precast Concrete Box Culvert

Location		SR 286, Section 492 Indiana County, PA

Details:		Construction of Precast Concrete Box Culvert, widening and resurfacing the existing pavement to 3 lanes using subbase. superpave base, binder and wearing courses. New traffic signals, controller assemblies, sidewalks, and drainage improvements. Upgrade of an existing railroad crossing and warning devices, having an overall length of .513 miles.

SR 1003-4S3 South Mahoning Slide Repair

Details:		South Mahoning Slide Repair, located in Templeton, PA, is in its begining stages. Plum is clearing trees from the slope prior to presplit blasting. (Below) Plum's crew placing 60" RCP.

SR 3035-450 Yellow Creek Bridge Replacement

Location		Indiana County, PA

Details:		Replacement of structure over Yellow Creek in Homer City, PA. Also, roadway approach work and other miscellaneous construction was performed.

Pavement Base Drain

Location		SR 79 (A12) Kirwan Heights Allegheny County, PA

Details:		Construction consisted of Class 4 Excavation installation of Geotextile class 1 with approx. 150,000 lf of 6” Pavement base drain and additional coarse aggregate at extra depth. All excavated materials were loaded and hauled to on-site waste area.

Pipe Bursting/Sewer Replacement (SR0028-A22)

Location		Allegheny County, PA

Details:		Work consisted of excavating and demolishing existing brick manholes. Installed Trench Shields and proceeded with pipe bursting. Pulled PE sewer pipe through existing sewer pipe. Installed new precast concrete manhole.

Storm Sewer Microtunneling (Runway 9/27 Improvement Program)

Location		Hagerstown Regional Airport Hagerstown, MD

Details:		Work consisted of tunneling through Dolomite Limestone for 30" RCP storm sewer. A 42" diameter steel casing was bored into place using a Robbins 42 SBU attached to our American Augers 48-900 horizontal drill. The tolerance for this work was plus/minus 1" for horizontal and vertical grade. Both tolerances were achieved. A 32" class IV B-wall smooth barrel RCP was installed in the casing and grouted.

Bridge Replacement (SR 356, Section 204)

Location		Butler County, PA

Details:		Hydro removal of the concrete bridge deck on state route 356 over RT. 28 in Freeport Borough, Butler County. The deck was then replaced with light weight concrete.
